The Steps To Breaking Pornography Addiction

Step 3 – Change Your Habits And Routines

If you've developed an pornography addiction, then you'll need to change your habits and routines in order to break it.  But it goes beyond (way beyond) getting away from sexually explicit material.

Sexual images enter your mind through the eyes.  In order to break the addiction, you have to starve your eyes of all sexually oriented content.  For men, that pretty much means not looking at the body of any woman (except your wife).  It means you can no longer peek at the open shirt of the girl cleaning a table or bending over to pick something up.  It means you cannot stare at the backside of the girl waiting in line in front of you at the grocery store.  It means moving your eyes away from the legs you see walking around in the office buildings.

Girl watching can be an incredibly hard habit to break.  But it is possible.  You need to have a physical reaction to seeing temptation.  You must physically turn from women.  After a few weeks, your body will start to do it automatically, but those first few weeks will be very difficult.

You'll also have to stop looking through lingerie ads, stop watching the bikini clad women in beer commercials, and even stop staring at the leading ladies in chick-flicks that your wife makes you watch.

It will take will power and perseverance to accomplish this-but it is possible.  And you will end up being a stronger man.  And besides-it's the only way to break this habit.  Sexual purity is the only choice.  It's all or nothing with God.
